Costs too much.
Rich people and corporations are given trillions in tax relief — for like a couple hundred billionaires — instead of taxing them and having social security paid for.
Many people who are on it can work but don't try so they don't lose it.
It helps the elderly who can't work anymore.
A lot of people don't want to work, so they try to get on social security.
It makes sure the disabled are housed and fed.
A lot of people use fraud to get SSI.
Social security is a Ponzi scheme.... should be illegal... .
Social security does add to the federal deficit.
